Coordinated Efforts of Policy, Innovation, and Sustainability for a Greener Future
The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) will launch the Global Bioeconomy Assessment Report on April 22, 2024, in Beijing, China. This report, a product of a joint research project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, offers an extensive overview of bioeconomy development. It examines the lifecycle and characteristics of bio-based products and the evolution of bioeconomy policies across different regions. The report aims to guide stakeholders in promoting sustainable bioeconomy practices and integrating them into broader environmental and economic strategies.
