The Global Bioeconomy Summit (GBS) 2024, themed "One Planet – Sustainable Bioeconomy Solutions for Global Challenges," will be held on October 23–24 in Nairobi, Kenya. This event serves as a platform for diverse bioeconomy experts to foster dialogue, share best practices, and explore opportunities for innovation and collaboration. Supported by the International Advisory Council on Global Bioeconomy, GBS 2024 aims to integrate bioeconomy discussions into global issues like climate change and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The summit expects over 500 in-person participants and 3000 online attendees.
