Christin Boldt has worked at the intersection of science, policy, and society for more than a decade, focusing on the communication and governance of the bioeconomy. Her work spans science communication, stakeholder engagement, and designing dialogue formats that connect research, policy, business, and society.

Since 2015, she has been part of BIOCOM AG (now Knowbio GmbH), where she has led projects and initiatives in the fields of bioeconomy and biotechnology, including science communication for EU-funded projects. As co-head of Global Bioeconomy Summit 2020 secretariat, she was responsible for the summit’s conceptual development and operational implementation. She has also contributed to the work of the German Federal Government’s Bioeconomy Council by supporting citizen dialogues, exhibitions, and policy publications.

Her doctoral research explores how the transition toward a sustainable bioeconomy can be governed at the local and regional levels. She is also the editor of Bioeconomy Snap, a weekly newsletter covering global bioeconomy policy developments.

She strives to bridge science, policy, business, and society, helping stakeholders develop a shared language for the bioeconomy.
